Overview

A historical fantasy set in 1899 New York, following a golem created to serve a master who dies the night she is animated, and a jinni accidentally freed from his flask after centuries of imprisonment. The two immortal, out-of-place beings navigate the city's immigrant communities and gradually discover a hidden mutual history across an in-progress historical-fantasy trilogy.
