Synopsis
The action takes place in Aralor, a world full of riddles. Dark fire lies beneath its surface and magic runs through everything. People, orcs, sidhe, mantids, dwarves and kobolds live there. In the Far North the influence of a mysterious Witch grows. The mages of the Corvus Empire are tangled in intrigue, and three free sorcerers who appeared from nowhere plan something unheard of. Forces far stronger than anything in Aralor probably stand behind it all. At the centre are the orc slave Shaarta, the young necromancer Rico and the imperial mage Publius Marron, who must save their world, their loved ones and themselves.
