Synopsis
Blood Lines continues the Blood Books series, following Vicki Nelson and Henry Fitzroy as a new case draws Vicki's investigative skills into a mystery with roots in the ancient world, testing the partnership the two have built across the series' earlier volumes. As Vicki works the case using the practical instincts of a former police officer turned private investigator, Henry's long unlife and deep knowledge of history and the supernatural continue to prove essential to unraveling a threat that ordinary methods cannot fully explain. The novel extends the series' formula of pairing Vicki's detective work with Henry's vampiric expertise against a new supernatural menace in Toronto.
