Synopsis
In the seventh Secret Histories novel, Eddie Drood is sent to a lavish, invitation-only casino event known as Casino Infernale, where supernatural power brokers and criminal organizations gather to play for stakes far higher than money. Eddie must infiltrate the gathering and outmaneuver dangerous rivals while uncovering the true purpose behind the event, which threatens to shift the balance of power in the hidden world the Droods police. As alliances shift and old enemies resurface among the guests, Eddie is forced to rely on cunning as much as force, aware that a single misstep at the table could have consequences reaching far beyond the casino itself and into the wider secret war the Droods wage.
