Synopsis

In the eighth novel of the main Nightside sequence, private investigator John Taylor accepts an assignment to track down a missing man believed to be in possession of a DVD that purportedly documents genuine footage of the Afterlife, a recording whose implications could shake belief systems across the Nightside and beyond. As Taylor begins his search, he quickly realizes that he is not the only one interested in the tape, and that other, considerably more powerful factions within the hidden London district are also racing to locate the same elusive man and his dangerous recording before Taylor can, turning a straightforward missing-persons case into a contest against forces with much higher stakes in mind.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Nightside main sequence): No further main-sequence novel has been found published since The Bride Wore Black Leather (2012); a short-story collection, Tales from the Nightside (2015), exists in the same setting but is not catalogued in this admission. No confirmed major-award nomination was found for this series after a genuine search; this is an honest "none found," not an unresolved lead.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
