Synopsis

In the ninth novel of the main Nightside sequence, Judgement Day arrives for the inhabitants of the Nightside in the form of the Walking Man, described as God's own agent of righteousness sent to earth to cast out sin. His mission is to purge the hidden London district of its corruption, a task that proves troublesome given that depravity and dark desire are essentially what the Nightside was built on in the first place. Fearing that an indiscriminate purge would leave nothing and no one behind, the Authorities who oversee the district hire private investigator John Taylor to find a way to stop the seemingly unstoppable and unkillable Walking Man before his campaign of judgement consumes everyone in his path.

Notes

  • From the series record (The Nightside main sequence): No further main-sequence novel has been found published since The Bride Wore Black Leather (2012); a short-story collection, Tales from the Nightside (2015), exists in the same setting but is not catalogued in this admission. No confirmed major-award nomination was found for this series after a genuine search; this is an honest "none found," not an unresolved lead.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
