Synopsis
Cassie Palmer has recently inherited the title of Pythia, the world's chief clairvoyant, although she has none of the years of training the role normally requires. She now holds more power than she feels safe using, and the vampires, fey and mages around her all want either to control it or to destroy her. She also learns that an arrogant master vampire has placed a geis on her, a magical claim that keeps other suitors away and may explain the strong pull she feels toward him. Tired of being manipulated, Cassie resolves to show anyone who challenges her that she is a dangerous opponent.
