Synopsis

Following his time governing Granburg, the young Prince Lodrik becomes the new ruler of Tarpol and moves decisively to combat the exploitation and corruption that have long benefited the province's wealthy landowners and nobles. His reform agenda, meant to improve the lives of common people, draws fierce resistance from the very nobles whose privileges he threatens, turning his own court into a battleground of competing interests. At the same time, an ancient prophecy names Lodrik as a figure who will help determine the fate of the world, drawing both ambitious allies and dangerous enemies toward him. As Lodrik tries to balance political reform with the demands of rulership, the looming return of the Dark Time casts an ever darker shadow over Tarpol, hinting that greater dangers than internal dissent are gathering.
