Synopsis
The half-elf Leandra falls into the hands of the Necromancer Emperor, who is preparing an invasion from the Fire Islands. Her companion Havald is shipwrecked on the coast of those same islands and has to fight his way across hostile land. Separated from each other, the two face different dangers: Leandra is at risk of being turned into a weapon against her own friends, while Havald must find a way to reach her and to learn what the emperor is planning before his forces move against the mainland.
