Synopsis

Dragons of Fate continues the Dragonlance Destinies trilogy after a clash of powerful magical forces triggers the Greygem of Gargath, hurling Destina Rosethorn and her companions backward in time to the age of the dragonlance-bearing hero Huma Dragonsbane during the Third Dragon War. Stranded in an era their own meddling now threatens to unravel, the group must find a way back to their own time before the Greygem's influence permanently rewrites history. Along the way, figures familiar from Krynn's history intersect with the party, including versions of Raistlin and Sturm encountering the legendary heroes of Huma's age, while Tasslehoff pursues the fabled dragonlances themselves, deepening the stakes of Destina's original attempt to change her father's fate.

Publication order and internal chronology are tracked as two separate orderings and are never conflated: a book's place in one says nothing about its place in the other.
