Synopsis
Two hundred years after the events of the first book, five centuries of peace across the continent of Loerem come apart as war returns and the long-lost Sovereign Stone, an artifact tied to the world's ancient magic, resurfaces. Dagnarus, once a mortal prince and now an undying Lord of the Void, moves to claim the Stone and the throne of Vinnengael for himself, commanding armies raised from darkness. Three unlikely companions, drawn from different peoples and stations, find themselves the only ones positioned to stand against him, as old prophecies and buried history come back into the light.
