Synopsis
Iron Kissed continues the Mercy Thompson series as Mercy finds herself caught between two dominant werewolves who both want her attention, complicating her already uncertain place within Adam's pack. At the same time, her old mentor Zee, a fae craftsman she has known since childhood, asks for her help investigating a series of unsolved murders connected to the local fae reservation. Mercy agrees, drawn by loyalty to Zee even as the investigation exposes her to a side of fae society kept carefully hidden from humans and most other supernatural beings. As she follows the trail of the killings, Mercy uncovers secrets that put her own safety at risk and strain her relationships with those closest to her, forcing her to weigh what she owes Zee against the growing danger surrounding the case. The deeper she looks, the more the fae community's true nature comes into focus.
