Synopsis
In Merrick, Louis de Pointe du Lac remains haunted by memories and lingering grief over the vampire child Claudia, whom he and Lestat created and lost decades earlier. Seeking answers he cannot find on his own, Louis enlists the help of David Talbot and the powerful witch Merrick Mayfair, hoping their combined knowledge of the occult can help him make contact with Claudia's spirit. As Merrick prepares a dangerous ritual meant to summon what remains of Claudia beyond death, Louis must confront both the practical risks of the undertaking and the emotional weight of finally learning the truth about what happened between himself, Lestat, and the daughter they raised together.
