Synopsis
In Myth Directions, Tananda enlists Skeeve's help to find a birthday gift for his mentor Aahz, and the pair travel through dimensions to Jahk, a world divided between extremely thin and extremely overweight inhabitants, arriving amid celebrations for the city of Ta-hoe's earlier victory in a contest called the Big Game. When Tananda spots a championship trophy and decides it would make the perfect gift, an attempted theft goes wrong: the trophy vanishes, alarms sound, and Tananda is captured while Skeeve escapes. Skeeve and Aahz return to rescue her and discover that the magician holding her is Quigley, an antagonist from an earlier adventure, and that the two cities of Ta-hoe and Veygus are quietly preparing for a war over the very game whose trophy Tananda tried to steal.
