Synopsis
In the fifth volume the shadows of death and war have spread over the North of the World, and Thora, the silver she-wolf, despairs on learning the fate of her sisters: Freya is a prisoner of Aesa, the sorceress queen of the Vandal people, and Edwina, Guardian of the Tear of the Sun, has been mortally wounded. From the Empire to the south come rumours that the one whose purpose is to cast eternal and absolute darkness over the Earth has already taken human form. What hope remains to the defenders of the Good when even Aranwen's magic stones are in the enemy's hands? The novel follows the three daughters of the Jarl Throst and the sorceress Catelyn, whose friendship and trust are put to the test, and asks whether the prophecy of the Three Kingdoms is doomed to be lost without ever coming true.
