Synopsis
The ancient Powers have awakened. In the Dominion, the rightful ruler is set on overthrowing the man who killed his family and took his throne. The nomadic Voyani take to the Sea of Sorrows to search for the lost Cities of Man, a journey that is expected to lead them into a deadly clash with the Lord of Night, the demon lord who commands the Shining Court. The story moves between the Dominion and the Empire, following Jewel and the members of her House as they try to prepare for a war that cannot be avoided, while the demons behind the usurper move closer to their goal.
