Synopsis
Jewel of House Terafin follows her visions into the Dominion, the home of the clans who are the Empire's enemies, with only her domicis Avandar to protect her. She leaves behind a House on the verge of a dynastic war, in which she is the unofficial heir. The clans have made an alliance with the demons of the Shining Court, who are far more dangerous than the clans themselves. Demon-made masks threaten the Dominion and the nomadic Voyani prepare to make a stand. Jewel must find out what her visions want of her while the situation in both the Dominion and her own House grows worse.
