Synopsis
Sunbringer picks up after the destruction wrought by the fire god Hseth, as former allies scatter to face new pressures. Inara, still bound to the small, scheming god of lies Skedi, continues searching for answers about her own unexplained parentage and the strange powers stirring within her. In the capital, King Arren begins building a cult around his own survival, a move that drives a wedge between him and his oldest friend Elo, who cannot stomach the direction his king is taking. Elsewhere, a quiet resistance begins gathering to protect the small, outlawed gods that ordinary people still rely on in secret. As old loyalties fracture and new alliances form under pressure, the fallout from Blenraden's fall reaches every corner of the kingdom of Middren.
