Synopsis
In the twelfth and final novel of the main Nightside sequence, private investigator John Taylor is preparing to marry his longtime partner Suzie Shooter and finally retire from detective work in the hidden London district. Before he can walk away for good, one last case goes badly wrong, and Taylor finds a substantial bounty placed on his own head as a result. With practically the entire Nightside now turning against him in pursuit of the reward, including, to his dismay, his own bride-to-be, Taylor is forced to fight for his life through the district he has called home for years, even as his planned wedding and retirement hang in the balance.
