Synopsis

The Legacy of Arniston House, published by T.L. Huchu in 2024, continues Edinburgh Nights. Ropa Moyo has left Scotland to work for the English Sorcerer Royal, a step up in formal magical training and status from her earlier informal ghosttalking work in Edinburgh. Her new life is upended when an old adversary reveals a devastating secret concerning her grandmother, forcing Ropa to return home, where she discovers her grandmother has been murdered and finds herself the primary suspect in the investigation. Working to clear her own name while grieving, Ropa becomes entangled with a sinister cult seeking to resurrect an ancient and dangerous power through ritual, and must draw on both her magical training and her old Edinburgh contacts to stop the cult and uncover the truth before the investigation against her closes in.
