Overview
Edinburgh Nights is T.L. Huchu's five-book urban fantasy sequence following Ropa Moyo, a teenage apprentice necromancer in present-day Edinburgh who ekes out a living speaking to the recently dead for paying clients while navigating the city's magical underworld, drawing on Zimbabwean folk magic taught to her by her grandmother alongside the more formal, class-inflected magical tradition practiced by Edinburgh's own magical society. The series opens with The Library of the Dead (2021) and continues through Our Lady of Mysterious Ailments (2022), The Mystery at Dunvegan Castle (2023), and The Legacy of Arniston House (2024).
