Synopsis
War of the Twins, published in 1986 as the second volume of the Dragonlance Legends trilogy, continues directly from the previous book as the twins Raistlin and Caramon Majere, having traveled back roughly a century after the Cataclysm, arrive with the cleric Crysania at the Tower of High Sorcery in Palanthas during the era of the Dwarfgate Wars. Raistlin, who has absorbed the power of the archmage Fistandantilus, seeks godhood by locating a Portal to the Abyss rumored to be hidden within the dwarven fortress of Zhaman, while Caramon, though opposed to his brother's ambitions, is compelled to assist him.
