Overview
Fever is an urban fantasy series by American author Karen Marie Moning, in eleven novels from 2006 to 2021. It is set in Dublin, Ireland, where the Tuatha De Danann, or Fae, an ancient immortal race, have lived hidden among humans for thousands of years. MacKayla Lane travels from Georgia to Dublin to find her sister's killer and learns that she can see through Fae glamour. She is drawn into a hunt for the Sinsar Dubh, a book of dark magic, alongside the dangerous Jericho Barrons and the Fae prince V'lane. After the barrier between the worlds falls, the later books follow Mac, Barrons, Ryodan and the young sidhe-seer Dani O'Malley in a Dublin overrun by Seelie and Unseelie Fae.
