Tales of the Otori is a five-book series by Lian Hearn (a pen name of Gillian Rubinstein) published between 2002 and 2007, set in a fictional world based on feudal Japan and divided into three interconnected countries governed by rival clans, supernatural secret organizations, and religious outcasts.
