Overview
The Tithenai Chronicles is a fantasy series by Australian author Foz Meadows, published by Tor/DAW from 2022. It follows Velasin vin Aaro of Ralia, whose planned diplomatic marriage collapses when his attraction to men is exposed, and Caethari Aeduria of neighbouring Tithena, who marries him instead. The books are romantic and political fantasies with Byzantine-style court intrigue, set against attackers who want the alliance to fail. Two novels have been published, A Strange and Stubborn Endurance (2022) and All the Hidden Paths (2023). A third volume is listed for 2027, so the series is in progress.
