Synopsis
Stalking Darkness continues the Nightrunner series with Seregil and Alec still working as spies in the Crown's service following the events of Luck in the Shadows. The plot is set in motion by the surfacing of a broken, ancient helm once belonging to a forsaken and dangerous god; an enemy faction seeks to recover its scattered pieces in order to seize control of the Three Lands. As Seregil and Alec race to stop the conspiracy from reassembling the helm, Seregil is forced toward an agonizing choice involving his own mentor, deepening the personal stakes of their mission alongside its political and magical dangers.
