Synopsis
Traitor's Moon concludes the original Nightrunner trilogy. Skala's ruling Queen sends her youngest daughter on a diplomatic mission to the magic-rich, isolated land of Aurënen, escorted by soldiers and courtiers that include Seregil, an exiled nobleman of that land, and his apprentice and partner Alec. The mission aims to secure Aurënen's military aid for Skala's ongoing war against Plenimar, but an attempted assassination targeting the princess threatens to derail the fragile negotiations. Seregil must work to uncover who is behind the plot while confronting his own complicated return to a homeland and family he left decades before in exile. First published in 1999, Traitor's Moon belongs to the Nightrunner series.
