Overview
The Seer King Trilogy is a fantasy series by American author Chris Bunch, published by Warner Aspect between 1997 and 1999. It is set in the fragmented empire of Numantia, where dark magic is rising and the nations quarrel among themselves. The story is told by Damastes a Cimabue, a cavalry officer who meets the radical wizard Laish Tenedos on a border assignment and follows him through war and politics as Tenedos moves to rule the land. The Seer King introduces the pair, The Demon King shows Tenedos as emperor raising an army for a new war, and The Warrior King follows Damastes after a military defeat. The trilogy is complete; Bunch died in 2005.
